Everything here is terrible for you, yes. BUT it's all delicious! And so, so cheap! Plus, breakfast all day is always a good choice
My favorites here are a toasted egg and cheese sandwich, the fish sandwich (surprisingly delicious), or the chicken sandwich (a family favorite). Their fries, hash browns, hush puppies- all the sides basically, are also quite good. You will leave smelling like a deep fryer, but it's fine. -

I hate to say this, but the truth must be told. Based on other reviews, I had the highest of high hopes for this place. But I was sorely disappointed. Let me say first, though, that the people who work here are very nice and the price you pay is very low. Unfortunately, the low price is reflected in the quality of the food. It's not that it tastes bad, but it is just incredibly bland. Bland city, man. I got a fresh cheeseburger and it was just OK, with scarce toppings and no flavor. Bland. The hot dog was even worse, with the dog having no taste, the slaw being too sweet, and the chili...how do I adequately convey how bland this chili was? It was dry and tasteless. I'm not exaggerating: nary a trace of chili seasoning anywhere. Fries were decent. No fountain drinks, so I had sweet tea, which was good.

I give this place 5 stars, cause Gordon would hate allover this diner. It has a comfort like your grammas kitchen, with the old stove and pots and pans from before the war when things were made from metal. This diner has some real history and they make real food. Comfort food. Nice people making nice food. If I had one criticism, it's the prices are too low. Can't remember eating at a place and leaving with change from a twenty.
So in conclusion, it's kind hard to find, got to park in the back and walk through the screen door, but I think you will leave full and a better person. -

I felt very comfortable in this atmosphere when i walked in. The food selection is very large. They serve breakfast all day which personally i love. Not much room for customers but still ate comfortably. I got the French toast and biscuits with gravy. Tasted like Sunday morning at grandmas

This small family-owned cafe has great service and the food is like your grandma is in the kitchen making it for you. The atmosphere and the prices will take you back in time! I go nearly every Saturday for breakfast.
